Visits to the Daisalux factory are commonplace. This time it was the turn of a group of 21 architects from different Latin American countries including Peru, Chile, Colombia and Argentina.
These 21 people very dedicated to the construction and lighting sector were able to visit the Daisalux factory and gain a deeper understanding of how an emergency luminaire works.
During the factory visit, the architects were shown the main features of the devices that are made: emergency luminaires, high-power emergency lighting, signalling and beacon lighting. Every detail is relevant to understand the benefits of Daisalux’s emergency lighting. A product that at first glance stands out for its excellent manufacturing, its careful design and the quality of the materials with which it is built.
The visitors were told why the optics of our luminaires are special and why we take special care over them. A simple change of lens can obtain totally different photometric curves in the same luminaire. Being able to modify the projection of the light emitted by the LED is really useful, especially when you want to differentiate between escape route lighting and anti-panic lighting.
Electronics also plays an important role in Daisalux emergency luminaires. It enables the design of lighting that is more efficient, more durable and with many different functions and autonomies, capable of adapting to the regulations of most countries, including Latin America.
We took the opportunity to demonstrate the Daisa program and show how the necessary calculations are carried out in emergency lighting projects, a service that is offered free of charge.
Finally, there was a visit to the rooms where the IP and IK tests are carried out. Here the resistance of the luminaires is tested against external agents such as water and dust or against mechanical impacts.
The group of architects did not miss the opportunity to visit other companies belonging to the Habic Group such as Prodema, Sellex or Tesa-Assa Abloy. And of course they visited the beautiful land where the Daisalux emergency luminaires are produced. Architecture and gastronomy are some of the quality hallmarks of the privileged environment in which we are located
This type of event is valued very positively and we believe that the exchange of views that takes place during these visits has enormous value.
Similarly, we hope that the group of architects who visited our facilities was as satisfied as we were because our intention is to repeat similar such visits in the near future.
