Laintec holds the Kick off meeting of MINALEM project

Laintec, R&D centre of Daisalux, holds the kick off meeting of MINALEM project (Micro and nano optical structures for high efficient technical emergency and general lighting) supported by Eurostars-2 program and CDTI.

The objective is to design and develop optical components to improve the light shaping and efficiency using surface micro and nano structured diffusers.

The MINALEM consortia is composed by four entities coordinated by Laintec A.I.E., the research centre of Daisalux Group (Spain), Bartenbach (Austria), TwOptics (Spain) and Profactor (Austria), with the collaboration of IK4-Tekniker (Spain).

Laintec leads this project to develop new optic components to improve the performance of emergency lighting luminaires in terms of better light diffusion, efficiency and visual comfort. MINALEM’s budget is 1,4M€ to implement the project until December 2019.
